A tribute to the legendary deceased guitar legend from the Congo. Syran Mbenza modelled his guitar playing on Franco’s work, and here assembles an all-star cast of musicians to honour the master 20 years after his death. He selects the best of Franco’s repertoire from the Cuban-inspired 50s, the rumba of the 60s, 70 authenticité and the extended songs of the 80s, accompanied by members of OK Jazz.
