Traditional 'demotika' tunes, each drawn from a different Greek island or region, delivered by Kristi Stassinopoulou and Stathis Kalyviotis in a melange of traditional instrumentation, recorded ambiance and electronica. Intended also as an antidote to the copycat trend of today's Greek musicians, the result is an evocative and charming collection which exists in it's own time and space.
