The Klezmatics add the hitherto-hidden Jewish dimension to Woodie Guthrie’s unrecorded lyrics. Unearthed by his daughter Nora, and offered to the band, it’s a touching collection of intimate songs ranging from lullabies to homespun philosophy, set to a sensitive (self-composed) backing.
