Hello, my name is Albert Reguant and I am from Barcelona (Catalonia). I always have been very interested in music from around the world and that is why, in a very early age, I started travelling around Europe and living outside of my country (in London (1972), Stockolm (1975) and Berkeley (1977). This has been a huge experience and I got a lot of contacts since then. This experience has been useful to do things in my country such as been the director of the legend program Hidrogen, a television and radio program focused on alternative music ( contemporary folk and world music) for the public Radio and Television of Catalonia (1992 - 2004). The just new program Músiques del Món , to take the substitution of Hidrogen, in the Public Catalonia Canal 33. I have attended the Womex Conference since its second edition (Brussels , Marseille, Stockolm , Berlin 99 and 2000, Rotterdam 2001, Essen 2002-04, and Sevila 2003) as well as the Afim conferences in USA (San Francisco 1995 and Atlanta 1999); Forte Riga (Latvia, 2001); and Folk Alliance (Cleveland, Ohio 2000, Vancouver, Canada 2001, Nashville.Tennesse 2003, and SanDiego 2004)
